Julie, a Derby High School panther graduate, leapt into the real estate industry 13-years-ago with a temporary position at Select Homes Mike Grbic Team. Little did she know that temporary position would set her career course in real estate. Julie went on to work in two, separate title companies, but returned to, what is now, Select Homes Team Real Estate, as a Transaction Coordinator. Julie is responsible for hundreds of real estate closings a year including auction properties through Select Auction Home and Land.
When asked why Julie chose real estate she said, “It was serendipitous! I needed a job and came across the temporary position at Select Homes Mike Grbic Team. I had no idea at the time that I would discover my niche. I enjoy every aspect of real estate but find that I have a real gift when it comes to attention to detail and coordinating between parties.” Julie says that one of the perks of her responsibilities is getting the opportunity to meet so many different people.
Julie lives rural with her beau who is a Butler County lineman. Together, they have a horse and two dogs, all of which were rescues with exception of their most recent dog which was gifted to them by a family that was unable to keep him. Both enjoy motorcycling and are involved in many charitable events involving their hobby.

Rhonda, a Kansas native and granddaughter of a beef and wheat farmer, was a second generation, Goddard High School graduate that attended Friends University. Out of college, Rhonda entered the landscape industry. Before joining Select Homes Team Real Estate, she worked eleven-years at John Deere Landscapes. Over that course of time, she became very familiar with Kansas – frequently traveling the state to visit her clients. Rhonda’s interest in real estate grew as she designed and installed the landscapes that framed some of Wichita’s most beautiful homes and businesses.
At Select Homes Team Real Estate, Rhonda is the Client Care and Program Director. As Program Director she oversees Select Auction Home and Land’s charity auctions by coordinating their auctioneer and auction team for local non-profit, fundraising events. Select Auction Home and Land has participated in and supported the greater Wichita YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, the Orpheum Theater, Dress for Success and ACSAA (American Collegiate Society for Adapted Athletics), just to name a few. When Rhonda was asked how she got involved with charity auctions she replied, “Our auctioneer, Mike King, asked me to assist him in a charity auction for ACSAA that was to be held on a Saturday evening in January of 2015. I agreed to help and from that evening on I have been committed to supporting as many local charities and non-profits as possible. That Saturday event helping ACSAA literally changed my life. It was one of the most rewarding experiences that I have ever had!”
Rhonda has three children between the ages of 16 and 25. She and her two sons enjoy antiques and art and go antiquing together almost every Sunday afternoon following church. They are also heavily involved in pet rescue having collectively rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed fifteen dogs and cats in 2016.
